Information we collect
We may collect your name, email address, telephone number, booking and attendance details, enquiries and other correspondence, newsletter preferences, payment status and transaction references, and technical information such as device, browser, IP address and cookie choices. Payments are handled by the payment provider shown at checkout; we do not receive or store your full card details.
How and why we use it
We use personal information to answer enquiries; take payment; confirm, administer, change or refund bookings; provide sessions safely; communicate important session information; keep financial and business records; prevent fraud and protect the website; improve our services; and send marketing where you have chosen to receive it.
Our lawful bases are usually performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business, and consent for optional marketing and non-essential cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.
Who we share information with
We use trusted providers to operate the business, including Wix for website hosting, forms and bookings; the payment provider displayed at checkout; email, newsletter and IT providers; and professional advisers. We may also share information where required by law or with authorities when necessary. We do not sell personal information.
Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate legal safeguards required by UK data protection law.
How long we keep it
We keep booking, transaction and accounting records for as long as required for legal, tax and business purposes, normally up to six years. General enquiries are normally kept for no longer than 24 months. Marketing details are kept until you unsubscribe or we no longer need them. Other information is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer reasonably required.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your information; restrict or object to its use; receive a portable copy; and withdraw consent. Email hello@puppypilatespoole.co.uk to exercise a right or ask a question. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
BOOKING AND CANCELLATION TERMS
Making a booking
A booking is confirmed when payment has been successfully completed and a confirmation email has been issued. Prices, dates, times, venue details, puppy breed information and any age requirements are shown on the relevant session listing or confirmation. Please check these details carefully and contact us promptly if anything is incorrect.
Sessions
A standard experience lasts approximately 60 minutes and normally includes around 15 minutes of gentle Pilates-inspired movement and stretching followed by puppy-led interaction. The exact format may vary to protect puppy welfare or respond to circumstances on the day. Puppy welfare always takes priority.
Please arrive on time, wear comfortable clothing and follow staff and puppy-handler instructions. Mats and session equipment are provided. Only puppies arranged for the session may enter the studio. Children may attend only where the session listing permits it and must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult.
Please decide whether the movement is suitable for you and work at your own pace. If you are pregnant, injured, unwell or unsure whether you should take part, seek appropriate medical advice before attending and tell the instructor about anything relevant to safe participation.
Customer cancellations
To cancel or request a transfer, email hello@puppypilatespoole.co.uk and include the booking name and session date.
If you give at least seven clear days’ notice before the session, you may choose either a refund to the original payment method or a transfer to another available session.
If you give less than seven days’ notice, the booking is non-refundable unless we are able to resell your place. If the place is resold, we will offer a refund or transfer. Missed sessions and no-shows are non-refundable.
Bookings are for leisure services on a specific date, so the usual 14-day cooling-off right for many online purchases does not normally apply. These terms do not affect any rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes or cancellations by us
Very occasionally, we may need to change or cancel a session, including where this is necessary for puppy welfare, safety, illness, venue availability or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If we cancel the session, you may choose a full refund or a transfer to another available date. If we make a significant change that means you can no longer reasonably attend, please contact us and we will offer an appropriate refund or transfer. We are not responsible for separate travel, accommodation or other indirect costs.
Conduct, safety and belongings
We may refuse or end participation where someone acts unsafely, does not follow reasonable instructions, mistreats an animal, disrupts the session or appears unfit to take part. No refund will normally be due in those circumstances.
Please look after your belongings. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.
Complaints and law
Please raise concerns as soon as possible by emailing hello@puppypilatespoole.co.uk so that we can try to resolve them. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and you retain any rights to bring a claim in another UK jurisdiction where applicable.
COOKIE POLICY
What cookies are
Cookies and similar technologies are small files or identifiers used to make websites work, remember choices, understand use of the site and, where permitted, support marketing.
How this site uses them
Essential cookies are used for functions such as security, navigation, bookings, payments and remembering privacy choices. These are necessary for the site to operate.
With your permission, functional cookies may remember additional preferences, analytics cookies may help us understand site performance and visitor use, and marketing cookies may help measure or personalise advertising. Third-party services, including Wix, booking and payment services and embedded social-media features, may also set cookies.
Managing cookies
When available, use the Cookie Settings control on this website to accept, reject or change non-essential cookie choices. You can also remove or block cookies in your browser settings, although parts of the site may then work less effectively.
